The venue is home to several historic Georgian rooms featuring fine portraits and original period features with all rooms equipped with the latest AV technology to suit all needs alongside an in house events team and catering by the ever so popular Searcys.
The Royal Institution – a Grade I listed building, is home to some amazing event spaces in the heart of London’s popular area, Mayfair. It is a perfect venue for an array of different events day or evening. The building features traditional Georgian architecture and is a perfect backdrop for the contemporary additions that have been added to enhance events and make this an up and coming event venue. The Royal Institution features a 420-seat auditorium which is perfect for larger conferences and presentations alongside other spaces for smaller events such as private dinners, receptions and small meetings.
Not only is The Royal Institution a beautiful venue and can accommodate so many different events they are an independent charity that is dedicated to connecting people with science and innovation. All of the revenue that is generate from venue hire is donated back to the charity which really does attract event bookers.
The Lecture Theatre is undeniably a wow factor space to hold a conference or screening. Steeped in over 200 years of history this is where discoveries that have helped shape the modern world have been announced. The theatre can accommodate up to 420 delegates and comes equipped with state-of-the-art AV so enhance your event without the huge price tag.
The Royal Institution is also home to various other spaces that showcase the traditional features including the Library and the Writing Rooms. The venue has spaces that can accommodate 20 – 100 guests and are perfect for breakout spaces for the large theatre or can be hired individually for smaller events.
The venue works exclusively with their in-house catering partner, Searcys. Together they have created and developed a range of innovative menus and always work with the client to suit their occasion and expectations delivery quality and attention to detail.
We love this venue due to it’s history and prime location – the various rooms are perfect for many different events and the events team in-house are very personable creating memorable events on a daily basis for their clients.
