The Dixon Tower Bridge
The Dixon Tower Bridge, located just along from London Bridge station, is the home of the old Tower Bridge Magistrates Court. Formerly encompassing a police station, prison cells and courtrooms, the whole building has been renovated and restored into a hotel but still retains its Edwardian glamour.
The Dixon Tower Bridge has two private meeting rooms, The Chambers and The Dock.
Both of these spaces are filled with history – for example, guests enter the spaces via the staircases that prisoners walked down from the cells to the courtroom. They also have natural daylight pouring into the spaces through the gorgeous Edwardian bay windows, making the venue perfect for both meetings and private dinners.
The Chambers is made extra special with restored wooden panelling and a stunning roof lantern to fill the space with natural daylight. Ideal for any event from a board meeting to a drinks reception.
The Provisioners and Shakedown Cafe is the main restaurant and coffee bar at Dixon Tower Bridge. This is a classic space with simple design making it perfect for any events. The Coffee Bar serves as a relaxed hang-out, serving coffee and cake during the day, turning to cocktails and nibbles at night.
The Courtroom Bar is the home of crafted cocktails and a marble-clad sunken bar beneath the judge’s original oak canopy This is a cocktail bar like no other. The signature Espresso Martini, made with Shakedown Coffee. Brewed just feet from the original jail cells, Shakedown is the hotels own brand of coffee that is selected and roasted in the hotel.
