Room Layouts & Capacities
For large conferences the Porter Tun is perfect. It’s exposed King Post timber roof gives the space a clear span of 60ft above and a 778 square metre antique wooden floor makes it is one of the largest and oldest unobstructed event spaces in London. It is equipped with state of the art sound system, Wifi, and fully integrated LED lighting system. This room is fully air controlled and has natural daylight. You can accommodate up to 800 people in this space theatre style.
The James Watt Room is a popular choice for small conferences, presentations or as a breakout space for larger conferences. The room is modern and comes equipped with high-speed Wifi, an integrated PA system, and customisable signage. There is room for up to 80 guests theatre style or 54 classroom.
The Smeaton Vaults provide an interesting space for smaller conferences and training days. The copper pipes around the walls and the original iron walkway reveal their brewing past but in reality, these rooms couldn’t be more modern. There is a built-in DB audio PA system and a large projector area and screen. The room has AMBX intelligent LED lighting that can wash the room in colour, highlight the vaulted ceiling, or interact with sounds and images. There is room for up to 110 theatre style.
