Bodleian Libraries was built in 1488 and is a masterpiece of late modern architecture, the libraries are know as the oldest libraries in Europe. Featuring an array of elegant events spaces perfect for both small and large events, there are the historic spaces located in the the historic Old Bodleian Library, including, the 15th century Divinity School, the 17th century Convocation House and the Chancellor’s Court. These spaces are all steeped in history and feature traditional architecture and interiors. On the other side of the Bodleian Libraries is the Western Library, which features three modern events spaces; the Blackwell Hall atrium with access to the exhibition galleries; a lecture theatre equipped with audio-visual systems; and the roof terrace with stunning views over Oxford.
