Venue 1 is the largest space at 229 The Venue, and features exposed brickwork, built in AV and a grand stage at the back of the room. This venue is perfect for Christmas parties, award ceremonies and conferences.
Built in 1965 as part of the International Students House charity, and still affiliates with them now, with 100% of their profit going towards the charity. Past performances at 229 include the likes of, Kings of Leon, Florence and the Machine and Tinie Tempah. This space is a real party venue, featuring exposed brickwork, a grand stage at the back of the room and built in AV, meaning you can really go wild with branding the venue and making it your own.
