229 The Venue
229 The Venue is a versatile event space with a built-in stage, perfect for awards ceremonies and presentations. The venue is able to accommodate up to 300 guests for a conference. Located only a short walk from Great Portland Street station with access to the Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith and City lines for travel in and around London.
A large open space with exposed brickwork, built-in stage and its own bar, 229 is a multi-purpose event venue. The music venue has hosted the likes of Kings of Leon, Florence and the Machine and Tinie Tempah and is ideal for parties, performances, awards ceremonies and presentations.
229 The Venue has two large spaces, namely Venue 1 and Venue 2.
Venue 1 is the largest space available here with a maximum capacity of up to 620 guests. This is an open plan space, with built in audio-and visual systems, it also has the benefit of a large loading bay to allow for additional theming and large items to be brought into the space.
Venue 2 is the smaller space, this is suitable for events with guest numbers up to 160 people. It is located in the basement of the venue, therefore it is perfect for intimate evening events.
We love this venues authenticity, and ability to adapt depending on your event requirements.
