Edinburgh and Drawing Room
Standing on Great Queen Street that connects Covent Garden with Holborn in the West End of London, is the Grade II-listed De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms. With a history dating back to 1775, the building has long been an important events venue and was once home to the original Freemasons’ Tavern before becoming a hotel in 1909.
The Edinburgh Suite and the Drawing Room are located on the first floor of the venue and boast natural daylight and a design that incorporates the architecture and heritage of the venue. The Edinburgh Suite can accommodate up to 300 delegates theatre-style, 150 guests in a classroom setup and 200 guests in a cabaret style. The Drawing Room connects to the Edinburgh Suite and works well as a catering space or is great for drinks receptions prior to a dinner in the main space.
