Headquarters of the Institution of Civil Engineers, One Great George Street is a historic Grade II listed Edwardian building – home to 21 event spaces including the luxurious Great Hall hosting events up to 400 guests.
Within a stones throw away from the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey this venue is within a prime location for those events that want to be within a very significant and historic part of the Capital.
One Great George Street is arguably one of the most impressive, historic spaces in London with a variety of rooms to host an array of events. The most popular and extravagant room in the building is the Great Hall, accommodating up to 400 guests, boasting over 370 sqm and over 13 metres in height. The room is embellished with marble columns and gold leaf and also has seven floor to ceiling windows allowing lots of natural daylight into the space making this one of the most unique spaces in Central London. The Great Hall is perfect for a stand alone space for a dinner or awards evening but also is the perfect networking and catering area for The Telford Theatre located directly outside.
The Telford Theatre seating up to 260 delegates is a purpose built auditorium most suited to the events where a fixed layout is key. The auditorium has ornate dark wood panels around the room keeping in line with the rest of the building. The room comes equipped with state of the art audio visual equipment which is perfect for all events -avoiding additional costs from third party suppliers.
In addition to these two grand spaces the venue has another 19 areas where you can host individual events from small boardroom meetings away from the office or medium sized rooms for drinks receptions and dinners making One Great George Street the perfect venue for all events.
