Situated in the heart of London, the Grade I-listed Guildhall boasts grand interiors and versatile function spaces. The venue offers a spectacular backdrop for all types of events, from large conferences, award ceremonies and gala dinners to intimate private dining events, meetings and drinks receptions. With an array of spaces to choose from you can really host a whole spectrum of events here.
The Guildhall has hosted clients that include leading international organisations, charities and professional and academic bodies. All of the venue’s spaces are available for daytime or evening hire, whether for a meeting of 10 or a glittering reception for up to 900.
The stunning setting of Guildhall’s largest and most impressive room, the Great Hall, is really one to impress your guests. When the team stepped into this room, we really were blown away. The Great Hall room can hold 900 guests for a drinks reception and 628 guests for a seated dinner.
The building also features the largest surviving medieval crypts in London; the East and the West Crypts. This space is equally as atmospheric as the rest of the venue, however, it has a completely different style. The vaulted ceilings and exposed brickwork give it a real trendy feel and creates the perfect backdrop for Christmas parties and product launches.
The Old Library and Printroom is another breathtaking space at Guildhall and is steeped in history. This space illustrates the introduction to printing in England, as it was once home to a collection of 40,000 volumes and manuscripts. This is a perfect space for award ceremonies and gala dinners.
The other spaces at Guildhall include the Livery Hall, Basinghall Suite, Chief Commoner’s Parlour and the Art Gallery. All of these spaces are spectacular and can host your more intimate gatherings from 10 to 330 guests.
