Apothecaries’ Hall
A discreet, delightful setting a stones throw both from St Paul’s and the Old Bailey.The Hall is approached through an atmospheric private courtyard, off a cobbled lane that has survived intact since the Great Fire.
The Great Hall is oak panelled with beautiful stained glass.The Court Room and adjoining Parlour are filled with fine paintings and antiquities and offer atmospheric reception spaces. Available by special request for corporate, city, charity and some private events.
The three principal spaces are full of period grandeur, dating back to the early 18th century. The rich history of the hall and the Society of Apothecaries ca be seen in the antiques and art displayed around the venue.
Few venues can boast a history like the Great Hall, with its high ceiling and stain glass windows, it transports guests back in time. Ideal for larger dinners, conferences and receptions.
For more intimate events, the Court Room is a charming room. Dark oak panelling and portraits of past master peer down on guests from their grilled frames. Whilst the adjoining Parlour with its cabinets of apothecary jars is perfect for pre-dinner drinks or smaller meetings.
Walking through the new entrance and ‘The Shop’ you pass the Halls best secret, its secluded courtyard. Accessed through French doors, it is the perfect place for summer reception.
