Private Dining
The Ned has 5 rooms ideal for private dining events. Each space boasts period features including walnut panelling and vintage chandeliers, as well as ample domed windows to allow for plenty of natural light.
The rooms range in size from 21 sq m to 165 sq m, and can accommodate between 4 and 140 seated guests.
The Tapestry Room, which has a capacity of up to 140 people on long tables, features original walnut panelling and crystal chandeliers and is the most iconic space at The NED. The room takes its name from the remarkable pastoral tapestry that wraps around the upper walls – the largest of its kind ever produced in England when it was created in the 1920s.
The Saloon is dominated by an 18th-century chandelier sourced from London’s Devonshire House and can accommodate 70 guests on round tables.
The Drawing Room exudes charm with its restored panelled walls lined with period etchings, paintings and lithographs. This intimate space can accommodate 50 guests on round tables.
The RWB Room, named after the venue’s Chairman Ronald Wayne Burkle, is the only room lined with oak rather than walnut. With access to two beautiful terraces and period art this is a popular room for private dining events of up to 24.
The Rose Room is named after The Rose Tavern which stood on The NED’s site before being lost to the Great Fire of London. Featuring original chandeliers, a marble fireplace and mahogany wood panelling this is a wonderful space for dinners of 14 people.
Named after Sir Christopher Wren who designed St Mildred’s Church, a previous occupant of the 27 Poultry site, this room has original chandeliers, wood panelling and a carpet inspired by large-leaf Verdure tapestries. Accommodating up to 10 guests, The Wren Room is ideal for intimate private dining experiences.
