During the day the Muscovado Hall is the museum’s entrance, but at night it can be transformed into a spectacular events space. Its beautiful original features, including exposed brickwork and pine pillars from 1802, create the perfect backdrop for evening events, which are complemented by the built in bar and riverside terrace. It can cater for up to 400 guests.
The Sugar Store is a dedicated event space on the ground floor. With striking pitch pine columns and original shuttered windows, it is ideal for themed or branded dinners and receptions for up to 250 guests.
The Quayside Room’s bare brick walls and direct views of West India Quay imbue the space with distinct character and atmosphere. It is located on the third floor and has access into the museum’s galleries. Highly flexible the Quayside Room is perfect for dinners and receptions of up to 100 guests.
The Wilberforce Room is newly-refurbished and a popular choice for conferences and presentations. Able to seat 273 guests it has state of the art audio-visual facilities and a blackout option.
